How does electricity actually travel from the power plant all the way to the lamps in your living room? In the new section of the Energy Centre, you can embark on an exciting and educational journey through Norway’s power grid.
Here, children and adults can explore how electricity is produced, transported, and distributed – from the power plant to the wall socket. Through interactive activities and engaging tasks, you’ll learn more about one of society’s most important infrastructures.

The centre has renewed and improved most of its exhibition. This summer, it’s packed with exciting new activities about renewable energy sources and climate/environment.
Learn about climate and weather in the action-filled game Into the Weather, explore the new Dark Tunnel, and check out all the new features in The Waterfall. Discover solar power in the game Solar Town, and find out what bioenergy is around the campfire. In our brand-new wind section, you can try the game Windville and experience the thrilling Storm Box. In the Storm Box, you’ll get hit with a hurricane straight in the face — guaranteed to twist your expression!
