Hunderfossen Winter Park opens on 7. February
Are you ready for new adventures? As darkness falls, the Winter Park comes to life! Experience a truly unique winter wonderland filled with magnificent structures made of snow and ice, world-class ice art, exciting attractions on snow and ice, and top-quality entertainment with theatre and singing. The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks display set to Edvard Grieg’s “In the Hall of the Mountain King.” Dress warmly and get ready for an evening like no other!
In the Winter Park, exciting and action-packed attractions await snow enthusiasts of all ages. Try snow rafting, ride mini snowmobiles, or enjoy a scenic sleigh ride. There’s something here for everyone!
In addition to the winter attractions, several of our popular indoor attractions are also open, including the Fairytale Castle Soria Moria, Troll Drop, The Playhouse, and the award-winning attraction The Music Factory.
There’s never a day (or evening) without adventure at Hunderfossen! Just like in summer, Hunderfossen is filled with high-quality entertainment. Experience beautiful singing and fairy tale theatre suitable for the whole family. This year, you can enjoy fairy tales at The Royal Farm with the performance “The Princess Who Ate with the Troll”, and in The Troll Forest, where you can join King Winter and the mystery of the Northern Lights.
The evening concludes with a spectacular fireworks show on the open field at 8:30 PM (9:00 PM on February 15, 18, 21, and 22).

Near the Fairytale Castle, you will find the majestic Ice Cathedral with its sacred atmosphere – completely silent and adorned with wonderful decorations made of ice and snow.
Every year, the Ice Cathedral features a new theme, always inspired by iconic fairy tales.
Enjoy the unique atmosphere and the peaceful mood in our one-of-a-kind Ice Cathedral.
We also host weddings in the Ice Cathedral – many a princess has already said “I do” here.
We are very proud to have secured Elisabeth Kristensen for the design of the Winter Park.
She is Norway’s only full-time artist specializing in snow and ice sculptures.
