Hunderfossen Winter Park opens on 7. February

What is Christmas to you? Is it presents and Christmas trees? Traditions? For us Christmas is all about sharing experiences. Taking a break and enjoying each others company.
In December we decorate the farm for Christmas and the animals are looking forward to a lovely season with new visitors at the farm. The children can meet the Hunderfossen Santa, pet and feed the animals, drive electric off-road cars and try the obstacle course. In the barn you can make Christmas decorations at the Christmas workshop, and take funny family photos in the photo booth. Bring the whole family to a lovely Christmas fairy tale at the Children’s Farm in Hunderfossen.
The Christmas Farm is open December 6–7, 13–14, and 29–30 2025.
Over 150 animals live at the farm. In addition to Norwegian farm animals, we also have emus and donkeys. A bit exotic, but with red bows, and a bit of snow, they fit right in to the Norwegian Christmas celebration.
The Deer Forest is tucked away at the far end of the farm. Here, both kids and adults can hand-feed our tame red deer and fallow deer. Rumour has it that quite a few Christmas card photos have been taken here over the years! Remember to buy a feed bag at the entrance when you arrive.
Mini pigs, emus, llamas, goats, sheep, and yaks are also more than happy to nibble some pellets from your hand — or straight from the bag.
